Very shortly after she began her relationship with SNL comedian Pete Davidson. There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana.

"She was incredible when he was first sobering up", Miller's friend Shane Powers said on his podcast "The Shane Show" on Monday.

"Whether he's an addict or not, the way that Mac partied was not healthy". "[And] there was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober".

He added: "Every time someone close to me passes away I always text their phone and, I don't know why I do this often, I just wrote 'I love you man, ' and I knew he wasn't going to write back but I just felt like I had to do it anyway". According to the podcaster, Ariana was really pushing him to be sober, and was a "G" to him.

Miller's struggle with sobriety was no secret. Mac was supposed to be arraigned Tuesday in Los Angeles, but law enforcement sources say the City Attorney's Office will drop the charges. They all grew close to Mac during his relationship with Ari. "She wanted nothing but positivity in Mac's life after they broke up". Fans have been ripping her apart online ever since, especially after Mac Miller got into a drunk driving incident. Cole delivered an emotional tribute to Mac Miller.

An autopsy into Mac's passing was completed this week but, although his body has been released to his family, there are still some additional tests pending before his exact cause of death can be announced by the coroner.
