Baby boy for Shahid Kapoor & Mira Rajput

Soon to-be-mommy Mira Rajput looked uncomfortable after dinner date with hubby Shahid Kapoor – watch video

Shahid Kapoor has become father for the second time and the happiness on his face is for everyone to see. On Thursday evening Sonam wrote a heartfelt message for the couple on Twitter.

The news of Shahid-Mira welcoming a baby boy brought cheer to the family, and fans of Shahid congratulated the star.

MUMBAI: Mira Rajput, wife of famed Indian actor Shahid Kapoor, gave birth to a baby boy at a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday.

When quizzed if if Shahid will beat Saif at the beard game, he replied, "I might just get there, watch out Saif". Shahid's brother, Ishaan Khatter and mother, Neelima Azeem, were also clicked paying Mira a visit at the hospital. Misha's name was Shahid's selection. It was Mira's mother who was quickly summoned to the hospital as, we gather, Mira had to be operated upon.

On being asked about 'What's with the big beard?', Shahid laughingly told Rajeev Masand, "Saif's looks bigger than mines though, I am still waiting for it to get to that length, it looks really good".

Here are some other celebrities who wished the couple. They tied the knot in 2015 and in a recent interview to Rajeev Masand, Shahid talked about his wife with a lot of love.

The actor, who is now busy promoting Batti Gul Meter Chalu, has begun preparing for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy.
