De Bruyne: Man City star suffers knee injury

Kevin De Bruyne could be out for up to three months with knee injury

And the Belgian has now revealed details of his relationship with the Portuguese manager.

Sidelined: An injured Kevin De Bruyne arrives for the premiere of a documentary on Manchester City.

On behind the scenes documentary All or Nothing, De Bruyne said: "I was only 20 years old when I chose to sign for Chelsea, and I got my chances in the first few games and I thought, okay, things are going well, I play okay, we won the games".

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly suffered an injury setback that could see the Belgian miss a couple of months of action - and some of the Liverpool fans on Twitter believe the news has given them a massive boost in the Premier League title race.

"The extent of the problem is not yet known and we will bring you further updates on Kevin's condition in due course", read a brief statement on the club's website.

And The Times report that De Bruyne himself had a worrying reaction after he picked up the injury in training.

De Bruyne missed two months of the 2015-16 season - his first at City - after sustaining ligament damage in the same right knee.

Guardiola is lucky that he has a number of midfielders to fill in, with David Silva and Fabian Delph set to be available this weekend against Huddersfield.

The Belgium global picked up the injury in a City training session and, although the extent of the damage is still unknown, reports suggest that the injury is a nasty one and that the midfielder will be ruled out of playing football for approximately two months.

Guardiola is clearly attempting to ensure that none of his Premier League winners will be resting on their laurels for the defence of their title as the City boss has made a change to the way that his players are punished for infractions.
