Tiemoue Bakayoko close to AC Milan loan move from Chelsea

Transfer news

The Toffees may have taken a while to get going in the transfer window, but have now added three signings after securing Joao Virginia, Lucas Digne and Richarlison.

Chelsea could be set to bid farewell to two more players before the summer transfer window closes across Europe, with Dennis Wise expecting Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayako to move on.

It remains to be seen how quickly AC Milan will seal the deal.

The player is not expected to feature as a regular under Maurizio Sarri and has been allowed to leave the club on loan.

Bakayoko joined Chelsea last summer from Monaco in a £40 million deal and started 25 Premier League games.

So without further ado, you now have the keys to your Premier League club's transfer war-chest and we're asking readers to share their plans in the comment section below.

Chelsea travel to Huddersfield for their first game of the season on Saturday. Either way, Bakayoko has intense competition in Cesc Fabregas, Ross Barkley, Jorginho, N'Golo Kante and possibly Mateo Kovacic.

Chelsea winger Willian has confirmed he has no desire to leave the Blues this season after being linked with a move to Jose Mourinho's Manchester United.

It's now believed that Everton want Bakayoko, but AC Milan are currently in the driving seat according to the report, with Borussia Dortmund also interested, leaving the Toffees with work to do if they want Bakayoko before Thursday's 5pm deadline.
