Six 'Dominican gang members' in court over Bronx teen's slaying

New york police

NY police are searching for additional suspects after one man was charged with murder and six others were arrested in connection to the Bronx stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy in what authorities say was an apparent case of mistaken identity. Horrific surveillance footage shows victim Lesandro Guzman-Feliz being dragged out of a convenience store and viciously slashed in the neck around 11:40pm last Wednesday.

Shea wouldn't answer a CBS New York reporter's questions over whether or not the bodega employees attempted to help the teen, but said dispatchers did receive 911 calls from workers at the bodega.

The attackers apparently mistook Guzman-Feliz for someone else, police said, but did not elaborate on a motive. Maybe people in attendance said they never actually knew Junior, but they wanted to show their support after hearing about the crime.

Five gang members have reportedly been arrested in connection with Lesandro's murder. Lesandro Guzman-Feliz bears a striking resemblance to the unidentified young man in the porn video. National Basketball Association star Carmelo Anthony and his wife, actress Lala Anthony, visited Guzman-Feliz's mother, Leandra Feliz, in her Bronx apartment and stopped by the teen's vigil set up outside the bodega where he was killed.

The grief-stricken family believes more gang members are involved.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Guzman-Feliz attempted to run two blocks away to St. Barnabas Hospital as he bled to death.

The message was given to relatives after members of Trinitarios, a notorious street gang, allegedly killed Guzman-Feliz. "It's good because they have to pay but I want my son back".

The most shocking part of the video is the moment the customer reaches over a pool of the teen's blood to finish a transaction, which had been interrupted by the attack.

The NYPD already has 19-year-old Kevin Alvarez in custody.

The leader of the Trinitarios gang apologized on Facebook, PIX11 reports, admitting Guzman-Feliz was wrongly targeted.

Outrage followed on social media, as #JusticeForJunior became a trending topic on social media.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by Guzman-Feliz' family to help with funeral costs and other financial difficulties.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio also paid tribute to the boy who had dreams of becoming a police officer.
