Belmont Stakes: Justify draws No

With the Triple Crown in sight at Saturday's Belmont Stakes, the owners of Justify, Winstar Farm, have brokered a deal to have the horse exclusively sponsored by private jet company WheelsUp.

Baffert is not a fan of the inside post for his horses, no matter what the race.

Hofburg, who is trained by William I Mott and ridden by Irad Ortiz, drew the fourth post and is the second choice at 9-2.

The unflappable colt has already erased the "curse of Apollo", winning the 144th Kentucky Derby despite having never run as a 2-year-old, and secured the Preakness despite a thick fog and sloppy conditions. Justify and Bravazo will be the only horses to campaign the entire Triple Crown trail this year.

"We can not think of a better brand than Wheels Up to partner with a horse like Justify", said Leverage CEO Ben Sturner, whose agency also handled the sponsorship of American Pharoah in 2015. The Kentucky Derby's 17th-place finisher is at 9-1.

Preakness runner-up Bravazo, the only other horse besides Justify who will be competing in each leg of the Triple Crown, and Vino Rosso were both were installed at 8-1 while the rest of the field is 12-1 or longer.

Nine horses are set to line up against Justify, including five he beat in the Derby and two he beat in the Preakness.

"One of these horses or two maybe has to run a little bit better than you would expect them to, mine included (to win)", Lukas said.

The Britain-based colt is a newcomer to the Triple Crown trail.

The D Wayne Lukas-trained Bravazo, who finished a half-length behind Justify at the Preakness, will break from the third post while John Velazquez, a two-times Belmont Stakes victor, will be aboard Vino Rosso in the eighth post.
