Trump to Disney CEO: 'Where is my apology?'

Roseanne Barr

Barr has since stated that she would be addressing the entire controversy on Joe Rogan's podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience", this upcoming Friday.

"I had a feeling this was going to happen when I first heard it was coming back", Arnold told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "AC360".

I ask the same thing of the cast and production team behind the Roseanne reboot.

ABC cancelled Roseanne's sitcom over the racist tweet.

ABC acted "so f-ing incredibly fast", Smith said, adding "there was no prevarication [or] equivocation". Plus, what will fill the ABC show's slot this fall? "We're so sorry they were swept up in all of this and we give thanks for their remarkable talents, wish them well, and hope to find another way to work together down the road". We don't know her! And he said that to me out of the blue. "F-k the network, a major company [Disney], a major corporation reacted and acted".

TV network ABC cancelled the revived '90s show after Barr's racist tweet about former President Barack Obama staffer Valerie Jarrett, in which the comic compared the respected advisor, who is African-American, to an ape. "When I read her social media in the very beginning, and I saw how she was so into the conspiracy stuff with Donald Trump and so how far gone she was, and the "pizzagate" and Hillary is a pedophile and Obama wasn't born here, she was, you know, a 'birther, ' and how insane that was-I just knew that this would not end well".

"I'm fine. I'm anxious about all the people out there who don't have a circle of friends and followers who come right to their defense", said Jarrett in an in an interview with MSNBC during a town hall focused on 'Everyday Racism in America'.

In the past, the Republican president has cited the program's popularity as evidence that his supporters, who include Barr, want shows that speak to their concerns.

Smith pointed to late '80s NBC sitcom Valerie, which became Valerie's Family: The Hogans and later The Hogan Family after the removal of star Valerie Harper, who was sacked following a pay dispute. "Roseanne, the viscous [sic] slur at me you retweeted yesterday-if I had the time I'd sue you and drain you of every dime you have".

"Honestly, the nine episodes that they've done this season, she really hasn't been the driving factor of the stories, it's been more about Darlene".

"Sometimes people could just walk by her and she'd yell: 'What are you doing in here?' She was paranoid that the executive producers were spying on her", the source said. But now everybody's out of a job.

But the comedian was back on the platform soon after, posting: "I'm exhausted of being attacked and belittled more than other comedians who have said worse". And he was wonderful on the show. "It just shocked me a bit", she wrote.

The day after the incident, Barr was back on Twitter (after stating that she was leaving it), to go after cast members and production staff from the show for calling her out on her racism.
