Katy Perry puts an end to bad blood with Taylor Swift

On the go From there she will do eight more American shows- in Santa Clara Pasadena Seattle Denver and Chicago- before hopping across the Atlantic

Katy Perry sent Taylor Swift a real olive branch on Tuesday, appearing to end a long-running feud between two of pop music's biggest stars.

Inside the package was a literal olive branch, which of course is a metaphor for wanting to bury the hatchet with someone.

Swift is embarking on her Reputation World Tour, taking the stage Tuesday for the first concert at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. "This mean so much".

Perry hit back with a diss track of her own, titled "Swish Swish", and also addressed her issues with Swift during a 2017 "Carpool Karaoke" segment with James Corden.

One Twitter user claims that the letter says, in part, "Hello old friend - I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hard feelings between us. I really want to clear the air", Perry wrote, adding that she was "deeply sorry".

Swift captioned the video: "Thank you Katy", along with a heart emoji.

Swift's 2014 single "Bad Blood" was believed to be directed at Perry.

So before we get into the breaking news that this beef might finally be over, it's worth recapping just how it all started. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' [Then in 2013] she did something so terrible".

Last year, Katy went on record as saying that she was ready to make up with Taylor. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"
