Ben Simmons Triple-Doubles as 76ers Win Chippy Game 4 over Heat

Embiid remains doubtful Fultz draws into rotation for Game 3

The first-round NBA Playoffs series between the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat has featured plenty of scrappy, if sometimes sloppy, play and tight margins through the first three games.

Twice within the the final 45 seconds of regulation, the Heat cut the deficit to a point, doing so both times on jumpers from Dwyane Wade. "But that was the only way I could play in this game, if I wore the mask and protected my face with goggles".

The Sixers prevailed over the Heat with a 128-108 win in Game 3, which was marked by the return of Philly big man Joel Embiid. Ben Simmons is averaging 19.3 points and 9.8 assists while Dario Saric is averaging 18.8 points and 7.3 rebounds.

Embiid's playoff debut was a smashing success for Philadelphia. But these were two easy looks for Philadelphia with the game - and the season - on the line. The Heat will get after it defensively and compete like they have all series, but once the 76ers push back, this one could get out of hand.

The Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward/positionless beast showed off all his skills in Saturday's 106-104 victory over the Miami Heat, posting 17 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists (and four steals!) to become only the fifth rookie in National Basketball Association history to record a playoff triple double. Heat reserve forward Justise Winslow scored a season-high 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

For most of Saturday's matinee, the Sixers not only found themselves in an uphill battle against the Heat, but ball security issues. The Miami Heat are averaging 106.5 points on 45.7 percent shooting and allowing 116.8 points on 45.5 percent shooting.
