Daryl Worley arrested, tasered after allegedly passing out in auto on highway

Former Panthers CB Daryl Worley arrested by Philadelphia police

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley was reportedly arrested and tased by police early this morning, according to a report by NFL Network.

The Eagles acquired Daryl Worley in a trade with Carolina last month, and already the cornerback is making news. Worley had reportedly become "combative" with police.

Worley starred at Penn Charter before going to West Virginia.

According to a report by Joseph Person at the Charlotte Observer, a source with the Panthers says the team was concerned about his focus and commitment. The NFL Network also said a gun was recovered from the scene.

"We are in the process of gathering more information about Daryl Worley's arrest this morning", the Eagles said in a statement.

Worley was found passed out inside a vehicle that was blocking the highway at the intersection of Broad Street and Pattison Ave after someone called 911.

He started 25 games in his two seasons with the Panthers, who took him in the third round of the 2016 draft. Philly.com's Les Bowen reported that Worley might not be with the team after the incident. It doesn't sound good.
