Mourinho responds to Pogba rumours after Man City comeback

Paul Pogba sported a blue hairstyle at the Etihad

The positivity around the Etihad Stadium evaporated in a space of two minutes early in the second half thanks to two fantastic goals from Paul Pogba, who equalized for United and destroyed what looked like a celebration at halftime.

But Pogba, sporting a sky blue streak in his hair, led a revival with two goals after the break before Chris Smalling snatched a victor. Via City's official Twitter, he claims to have congratulated him on the result and that was it. Manchester United had definitely rained on Manchester City's championship parade.

The Jose Mourinho critics were also preparing to have a full night to tear the Manchester United manager apart but the dramatic turnaround gave the Red Devils fans the bragging right.

Manchester City is in great form in the ongoing season of Premier League.

Another supporter tweeted: "Manchester United always has academy players in the squad".

But Man United were having none of it. "To lose against City and to see them celebrate, I couldn't let that happen", he said. We're still 13 points clear at the top and winning the league, though. Not once but three times.

The midfielder posted 'say what?' on social media soon after the City manager's comments were published and then before kick-off was criticised by United great Gary Neville after turning up with a "ridiculous" blue hairstyle.

"Pep's improved Sterling they said how shite must he have been before Pep came then", another person wrote. Just three minutes later, Pogba scored his second by beating City goalkeeper with a header from Alexis Sanchez's cross.

And within 5 minutes and 15 seconds, the ball was in David de Gea's net again. The Spirit of Sir Alex Ferguson is Alive!

"With more freedom, I can make those runs inside the box", Pogba further added as Henry nodded his assent.

"I was impressed but I don't know because I didn't even speak with him about what Pep told and what Raiola told", the United boss said. City played United off the park in the first half and looked on their way to a convincing victory.

City's fans who were chanting "Stand up for the champions" at the start of the second half were silenced. Been an absolute demon.

De Gea then pulled off a sensational save in the 89th minute to deny Aguero a late equaliser, before Sterling saw the ball ricochet off his hip and nearly squeeze in before the keeper palmed it away.
