Multi-angle replays of Falcon 9's liftoff from Cape Canaveral

Musk aims to make rockets as reusable as commercial aeroplanes bringing down the cost of spaceflight and boosting efficiency

SpaceX is scheduled to launch a cargo mission Monday to the International Space Station from Cape Canaveral, just three days after successfully launching 10 communications satellites into orbit from Southern California's Vandenberg Air Force Base.

The launch marked the third time SpaceX launched a reused Dragon capsule, and the second NASA mission to use a previously-flown first stage.

The Dragon is set to return to earth with more than 1,500 kilograms of research and supplies in May.

As the spacecraft approaches the ISS, Japanese astronaut Norishige Kanai and NASA astronaut Scott Tingle will use the station's Canadarm2 robotic arm to grapple the spacecraft and tug it to the Harmony module, NASA officials said in a statement.

SpaceX launched its 14 resupply mission to the International Space Station Monday, sending a reused cargo ship packed with supplies and equipment to the orbiting lab.

At the International Space Station, NASA will conduct experiments that could offer data on possible innovations in a variety of fields, including medicine, agriculture, and construction. This is NASA's 21st mission utilizing private companies. The Passive Orbital Nutrient Delivery System (PONDS) arriving on Dragon uses a newly developed passive nutrient delivery system and the Veggie plant growth facility now aboard the space station to cultivate leafy greens. According to NASA, the PONDS design can accommodate a variety of plant types.

"We'd like to understand what is it", said Torsten Neubert, principal investigator for the Atmosphere-Space Interactions Monitor, according to the network.

These events include sprites (faint flashes that occur high above thunderstorms); blue jets (lightning discharges from cloud tops near the stratosphere); and ELVES (concentric rings of light emissions that typically lasts for one millisecond).

Scientists hope RemoveDEBRIS will help.

The Canadian Space Agency's examination Bone Marrow Adipose Reaction: Red or White (MARROW) will take a gander at the impacts of microgravity on bone marrow and the platelets it produces - an impact compared to that of the long-haul bed lay on Earth.
