Lost trust in CBSE, say protesting students: Expressing their anger over the paper leak incident, students held protests here at the CBSE office, contending that they have "lost trust" in the board.

Swarup informed that consequent to the arrest of 2 teachers from Mother Khajani Convent School, Mungeshpur, Delhi and a coaching institute Head, Tauquir by Delhi Police, a CBSE personnel, KS Rana was found lax in supervision.

In the wake of the CBSE papers leak scam, Delhi's Karkardooma court on Sunday sent the three accused to two days police custody.

In the fast developing story after the leakage of CBSE Class X Maths and Class XII Economics examination papers, Delhi Police on Sunday arrested one coaching centre owner and two other teachers in Bawana area for their involvement in the paper-leak episode.

A student, who had got the paper, was found and he led the police to Tauqeer who was detained yesterday.

Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) RP Upadhyay said they have received details of the e-mail address and the sender of the mail has been identified. He shared details of his accomplices with the police after which the trio was arrested, the police said. This is the first CBSE official against whom action has been initiated after the exam paper leak probe was initiated last week by the Board.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has questioned almost 60 people, including students and tutors, in this connection.

Rohan Mathew, a student of Choice School in Kochi, contended that the decision to re-conduct the exam was arbitrary, illegal and violative of the Constitution. They have not been given a clean chit, they said. A day earlier, school children and Congress youth leaders held protests in several parts of the national capital against CBSE board papers being leaked. The officer has been suspended with an immediate effect in relation to the leak of class XII Economics paper, confirmed the HRD Ministry.
