Who bit Beyoncé is the greatest pop culture mystery in recent memory

Tiffany Haddish Says an Actress Bit Beyonce’s Face

As previously reported, the GQ article published online Monday featured Haddish recalling Beyonce and Jay-Z's "4:44 Tour" wrap party in December.

"There was this actress there, that's just, like, doing the mostest".

As another fan urged Chrissy to "spill it", the "Lip Sync Battle" co-host cryptically shared, "deep down, you know".

Haddish said she got angry after Beyonce confirmed to her that she was indeed bitten by the actress in question.

Foster tried to take the sting out of the Bey attack, posting: "I wish I could get close enough to Beyonce to bite her".

While fan speculation has dragged everyone from Rihanna to Jennifer Lawrence into the mystery, Sanaa spoke out when Beyonce fans flooded her Instagram page with bee emojis.

"'That bitch is on drugs". She even told Haddish to "stop dancing". The bitch is on drugs.

"To me she is a Shero and a Great person I have learned so much from her in just a short amount of time", wrote Tiff.

Twitter is aflutter with rumours after Haddish's remarks, with #WhoBitBeyonce becoming a popular hashtag. Haddish also told the media that she was about to throw down at the party but Beyonce encouraged her not to before taking a selfie with Haddish.

Haddish also tweeted to clarify that Taraji P. Henson is not the actress she refers to in her story.

Sanaa tweeted a faint denial, saying "Y'all are amusing".

Both Lathan and Foster have since denied the biting allegations. "I Love that woman she is a Gift from God (sic)".

Representatives for Beyonce have yet to comment on Haddish's story, but the singer appeared to poke fun at Tiffany's penchant for gossip in her verse on DJ Khaled's recent track Top Off, on which she features with Jay-Z and Future. According to The Cut, the guest list included a number of actresses, including Sara Foster and Sanaa Lathan.

This one could run and run. and we may still never know who was responsible.
