Malcolm Butler will sign with the Tennessee Titans

Rapoport's sources indicated that Butler's deal has a guaranteed money of $30 million.

Butler was benched for all of Super Bowl LII this past season despite starting 15 regular-season games and both previous playoff games.

Interestingly, Robinson wasn't interested in pushing to get Butler to New England as a rookie free agent out of college; Butler got a contract offer from the Patriots only after a spring tryout.

The 28-year-old Butler was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015.

Lewis, who played college football at Pittsburgh, was a fifth-round draft pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011. He also had 32 receptions for 214 yards and three touchdowns.

Lewis joins a backfield already featuring Derrick Henry, the 2015 Heisman Trophy victor from Alabama, who had bided his time behind Murray his first two seasons.

He's the exact type of shifty, dual-threat back the Titans needed in the backfield alongside Henry. He was excited when the role cleared for him with Murray's release.

But it's clear that neither that game nor the Super Bowl benching had much of an effect on Butler's market.

Signed as an afterthought undrafted free agent, Butler stole the Super Bowl XLIX spotlight after saving the victory with an end-zone interception as a last-second substitution.

Malcolm Butler is signing with the Titans. Teammates nicknamed him "Strap" because of his ability to closely cover receivers and also "Scrap" for his scrappy style of play.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler intends to sign a contract with the Tennessee Titans when the new league year begins on Wednesday.
