Burnout Paradise Remastered "coming soon" to PC

News Electronic Arts Criterion Games Burnout Paradise Remastered Burnout Paradise

Burnout Paradise Remastered includes the base game, featuring 150 playable vehicles as well as 8 main DLC packs from the Year of Paradise.

It has been many years since Criterion moved on from the Burnout series.

"Burnout Paradise is an arcade racer built to provide players the thrill of racing with their friends, in a free form way that was both seamless and immersive, but also a little insane with all the different stunts and crashes players could pull off".

Reddit user BOZO_7 captured a screenshot of Burnout Paradise Remastered's PSN page, which you can see below.

Burnout Paradise Remastered edition includes all the DLCs of Year of Paradise, including the Big Surf Island update, and also features support for mid-gen consoles, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

EA has announced a Burnout Paradise Remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC version to follow.

Criterion Games, which is under Electronic Arts, will sell the returning title for $39.99 packed with the all the familiar goods - the complete collection of 150 playable racing cars, the whole eight expansion packs, and the beloved original soundtrack that will be headlined by Guns N' Roses' "Paradise City". Burnout Paradise Remastered has just been announced by publisher Electronic Arts for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Sadly, there's no sign of a version for Nintendo Switch.

Developer Criterion Software is back on board, along with fellow United Kingdom studio Stellar Entertainment Software, to make it happen.

This is somewhat par for the course when it comes to "Burnout Paradise" for the platform. Could this be the start of older EA titles coming back to the spotlight? A Windows version will be released at a later date exclusive on EA's Origin platform. EA Access subscribers can play up to ten hours of the game a week early, starting on March 9.
