Android P will stop malicious apps from exploiting smartphone cameras and microphones

Google adds screenshot-editing tools to its Android app

Cyber security researchers explained that the new Android will focus on apps' User IDs, which each app creates when it is installed.

In a bid to take on its powerful competitors as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay platforms, Google has announced the roll out of "Google Pay", a single payments platform that merges both Android Pay and Google Wallet. It also shows nearby stores that support Android Pay, as if that's your prime criteria for shopping. Of course, Google Assistant is expected to feature prominently in the new OS, too as Google pushed further into the virtual assistant market.

In the coming months, Google Pay will allow users to send money back and forth to friends and family electronically. You'll be able to hop over to the Cards tab at the bottom of the screen, which is where Google Pay keeps all of your credit and debit cards, plus your rewards and store cards.

Google Pay users in cities like Kiev, London and Portland can use their mobile to pay for public transit fares, allowing them to also dispense with their travel passes. If you are using any Android device or even Chrome, you can sign in and begin using your Google Pay stored financial information. However, for the moment, that option continues to be a part of Google Wallet, which has been rebranded as Google Pay Send. In addition to automated responses based on the context of a conversation you're having, Reply can also generate responses using your location data, send a heap of automatic replies based on your work calendar and certain keywords, and more.

Android P is a promise that the user privacy will be protected. With the implementation of the new code in Android P, malicious apps will stand to lose the most. We are glad to see the changes being made. The Google Play Store was developed by Google and has been included on every Android device released by various OEMs barring China.

We all know how good Google got when it came to security.

While Oreo does require apps using the camera to display a notification, some users ignore or attempt to disable these warnings.
