Man's Train Selfie Attempt Leaves Him With Head Injuries

A 22-year old youth, Siva native of Warangal district of Telangana was seriously injured while taking selfie with fast approaching Falaknuma-Lingampally MMTS (Local ) train near Bharat Nagar railway station. Kumar ignored the warnings and continued to take the video.

The engineer of the train kept sounding the horn, but Kumar kept on filming, assuming he was far enough away from the track to avoid a collision.

In a shocking incident, a man in Hyderabad suffered serious injuries while trying to pose with a moving train for a selfie.

In the video, Shiva can be seen looking into his phone camera with a big smile and pointing at the oncoming MMTS train from behind with his right hand.

The official said the reckless action amounts to trespassing on railway property, which is a punishable offence.

The video comes a day after a Kashmiri man shoots a death-defying stunt in which he lies on a railway track while a speeding train passes over him.

In the video, Shiva gets a warning from a man, but he confidently ignores it with a reply "one minute", moments before getting hit by the train.

Piyush Goyal, the Minister of Railways and Coal, also posted on Twitter to warn people against risking their life for a photograph.

The 21-second-long video emerged on Wednesday after it went viral on social media. That clip shows the individual lying on a railway tracks as a train runs over him. His friends later reported Shiva wanted to "touch the train" as it passed.
