USA Gymnastics has been criticized by several of the sport's top gymnasts during the sentencing hearing of former team doctor Larry Nassar who pleaded guilty in November to 10 counts of molesting female gymnasts. Miller said Nassar abused her a week before he was sacked by MSU. Raisman delivered a powerful statement to Nassar in court on Friday as one of dozens of women providing victim impact statements. Numerous women are also condemning USA Gymnastics and MSU for their poor handling of the allegations against Nassar.

She and other victims also continued their criticism of Michigan State, USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee for not doing enough to stop Nassar when initial complaints were made.

The resignations, which were also supported by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), came as former team doctor Larry Nassar's sentencing hearing continued in MI.

"The NCAA. has requested information from Michigan State about any potential rules violations", NCAA attorney Donald Remy said Tuesday, per The Times.

I am here to face you, Larry, so you can see I've regained my strength, that I'm no longer a victim, I'm a survivor.

Judge Rosemarie Aquilina said, "As much as it was my honor and privilege to hear the sister survivors, it is my honor and privilege to sentence you".

It was so recent, she said, that Michigan State University was still billing her mother for the medical treatments the disgraced doctor performed.

Geddert, a former Olympic coach, was suspended by USA Gymnastics on Monday. He was already sentenced to 60 years in prison in December for child pornography.

More than 100 women and girls have given statements at Nassar's sentencing hearing in MI or have had statements read on their behalf.

The Indianapolis-based group trains Olympians, including many who said they were sexually assaulted by a team doctor, Larry Nassar.

Joel Ferguson, the vice chair of the Michigan State University Board of Trustees says he is throwing his support behind President Lou Anna Simon because there is more to the school than "just this Nassar thing".
