Philadelphia Eagles' Lane Johnson a win from 'giving out beer to everyone'

LOOK: Chris Long barks at fans and breaks out the dog mask to celebrate Eagles win

Somebody from the Bud Light social media team caught wind of Johnson's free beer promise and chose to take advantage of the marketing opportunity dropped in their laps by saying they would provide the beer.

"Congrats to the Eagles on earning a trip to Super Bowl LII!".

After the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons 15-10 in the second round of the National Football League playoffs, the Eagles' Lane Johnson amused viewers by putting a German Shepherd mask over his head.

Take, for example, defensive end Chris Long, who will be up against his former team, the New England Patriots, in February 4's title clash. One win away from a Lombardi Trophy and a massive party, courtesy of Bud Light. Though the fans, of course, found a way around the slippery substance, one doughnut shop in Philadelphia is paying tribute to the greased poles that Philly fans love to undermine.

The NFL has not responded to a request for comment, or responded publicly to Johnson or Lane.

And, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, he has already raised more than $100,000.

Bud Light, we like free beer too, you know!

"Bud Light has not forgotten about our commitment to Lane Johnson, the Eagles and the city of Philadelphia". "We will be sharing plans soon, but in the interest of not jinxing the team ahead of their upcoming games, we are not going to unveil any plans at this time". "Heed thy King's words and thou shalt emerge victorious", Bud Light tweeted Sunday. Other than rooting for Tom Brady to save you from having to give 1.5 million rowdy Philadelphians a free beer?
