Google Pixel, Pixel 2 XL Get Rare Discount Promos

Google has announced the launch of its voice-based virtual assistant, Google Assistant, for tablets running Android 7.0 Nougat and 6.0 Marshmallow and for older smartphones running Android 5.0 lollipop. Well, you don't have to anymore. Collectively, there are now two wake-up commands for Google's digital assistant. Now you can broadcast your voice from your Pixel to the Google Home devices around your house.

Back when the "Ok Google" hot phrase was first implemented, it is safe to way that it wasn't a refined feature at that time.

In addition, you can still make use of the trade-in deal and save up to $435, and since Google recently released the Star Wars and Stranger Things AR stickers, fans of those franchise might see the deal being that much sweeter. It's up to you!

Not all devices support the "Hey Google" trigger phrase when their screen is turned off but a comprehensive list of fully compatible handsets has yet to be created.

The Assistant is giving them a choice to choose in between "hey, Google" or "OK, Google".

The "Hey Google" hotword is now live, and you'll probably have to reconfigure the voice settings of your phone to start using it. One of the most basic features is updating you with the latest news, weather and so on.

Eligible developers can also join the Google Assistant Developer Community Program to get started with building apps for the Google Assistant.

To beat the competition, Google has consistently been making the Assistant more versatile with various features such as broadcast, navigation suggestions and so on.

For years now, Google has always retained the crown of having the best software on its Nexus and Pixel phones.
