3 dead, including gunman, after New Mexico school shooting

The scene of Thursday's shooting in New Mexico

Police have not yet publicly identified the shooter or the two students who were killed at Aztec High School in northwestern New Mexico.

"Right now everybody is on lockdown", a statement from Bloomfield Police Department says.

Students and staff were cleared from the campus as police searched the school room by room.

The sheriff's department said in a Facebook post that morning that Aztec High School was being locked down and evacuated. "Please avoid the area".

Kyle Lincoln told CBS affiliate KRQE that law enforcement are clearing the building and searching the school.

Two victims were students at Aztec High School and police said the gunman is also dead. There will be a live update at 9:15am at Bishop's Square.
