Trump to Play Golf With Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson

Hero World Challenge- Round Two

In the morning of Friday, the president of the United States Donald Trump has indicated that he plans to play golf with golf professionals, Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson in the course of the day. Woods helped design the course for the Trump World Golf Club in Dubai.

Trump's tweet was in response to one from his social media chief, Dan Scavino.

News about Trump's alleged many golf trips and the cost to taxpayers for the president and his family to travel to his various Trump properties has been a bone of contention since he won the presidency. He tweeted that Friday was the "third time he's copped to playing golf as president" but the "first time he's admitted it's not work-related".

Obama in two terms played golf 333 times, according to CBS White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, who tracked Obama's games.

I thought "After Turkey call" was Thanksgiving-related the first three times I read this tweet, but Trump had just tweeted he has a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which makes more sense I guess.

Trump has a handicap of 3, according to the U.S. Golf Association GHIN system.

"The President and Tiger Woods enjoying a moment, both and n great spirits", author Dr. Eric Kaplan wrote in a tweet that he sent out with the pic. Minutes later, the correction was that the president "will NOT have a low-key day". During that last outing Woods said he was "impressed" by Trump's drive. It expressly prohibits the US president from receiving "any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever" from a foreign government or its dignitaries without the approval of Congress.

After the correction was made, Trump golfed at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
