BBC anchor gives Kate and William's due date the attention it deserves

Britain's Catherine Duchess of Cambridge laughs as she shakes hands with a person in a Paddington Bear outfit along with her husband Britain's Prince William Duke of Cambridge as they attend a charities forum event at Paddington train station

Her husband, William, and his brother Prince Harry were also there with Kate as they all met the cast of Paddington 2.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018", Kensington Palace's official Twitter feed posted on Tuesday.

We weren't expecting to see her again so soon because Kate has been suffering from extreme morning sickness, like she did with her previous two pregnancies, but less than a week later she's stepped out again-to dance with Paddington Bear.

The royal couple is already parents to their two small children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate Middleton nearly always appears polished and poised when out in public, but that doesn't mean she can't let loose every once in a while.

Last week, Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since announcing her third pregnancy. Kate, sporting a new hair style, danced with Paddington Bear on the platform of Paddington Station in London.

A royal aid said that while her health has improved, she continues to make decisions "day-to-day".

But then she turned the tables by choosing a baby pink dress for her day with Paddington, leaving everyone back to square one as to whether we'll get a new prince or princess!

William, 35, and Catherine - previously known as Kate Middleton - will kick off an exciting year with an official royal tour of Norway and Sweden in early 2018.

In a short statement, the royals' office Kensington Palace said the baby, who will be fifth-in-line to the British throne, was due in April.
