Resident Evil 7's Free Chris Redfield DLC is Finally Out in December

Resident Evil 7 DLC Trailer Explores ‘Redfield’ Tape

Not a Hero, which gained notoriety earlier this year for its inclusion of a curiously misshapen Chris Redfield, was originally expected to release in spring 2017.

Last month, Capcom announced the release of the long-awaited Not A Hero DLC expansion for Resident Evil 7, and that it would be joined by the new End of Zoe DLC. Plus, series veteran Chris Redfield had just arrived on the scene, and that guy doesn't just show up unless there's some sort of large-scale bio-organic weapon shadiness going on. "Our aim is for this content to match the high quality of the main game, so we need more development time in order to achieve that goal". Well, at least Ethan Winters is okay, right? The most insane and clever of the family, Lucas has turned the underground into a maze-like dungeon filled with poison.

Thankfully, it looks like these questions will be answered in RE7's upcoming Not A Hero and End of Zoe DLCs. She wanders the forest alone before the virus takes her over completely and becomes some kind of grey crystal-like substance.

The second scenario is End of Zoe, and it stars a man named Joe, who Capcom call "a myserious outdoorsman". The Resident Evil 7: biohazard Gold Edition will be released in North America and Europe on December 12, 2017 and in Japan on December 24, 2017.

Not a Hero is free to any who already own the original game, but End of Zoe will be a separate download for $14.99 United States dollars.

Both End of Zoe and Not A Hero will be available December 12.

Resident Evil 7 is out now on the PS4, PSVR, Xbox One, and PC.
