Trump challenges Rex Tillerson to IQ test

Tensions escalate after Tillerson calls Trump 'moron'

President Trump has laid down the gauntlet to his secretary of state, challenging Rex Tillerson to compare IQ tests with him if, in fact, the rumors the latter previously referred to the commander-in-chief as a "moron", are true. But President Moron isn't laughing.

Brown also said that Trump could potentially qualify for Mensa membership even if he bombed on his Mensa-issued IQ test, so long as he could provide evidence of exceptional test scores on other tests, including the LSAT, GMAT, and the Miller Analogies Test.

Mr Tillerson, who is scheduled to have lunch with Mr Trump and Defence Secretary Jim Mattis on Tuesday, held a special press conference last week to deny considering quitting. Tillerson has publicly complained about the slow pace of getting his assistant secretaries and other deputies nominated and confirmed.

Trump told Forbes he would "compare IQ tests" with Tillerson when asked about an NBC report that said Tillerson called his boss a moron.

Trump said Tuesday during a meeting with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger that he didn't think he undercut Tillerson with his comment about his intelligence.

Trump has at times appeared to undercut Tillerson's message on some of America's most sensitive national security challenges, including Iran and North Korea.

If you've ever had the misfortune to hear words spill out of Donald Trump's mouth, or read any of his typo-ridden tweets, you've probably thought to yourself: "Wow, this guy is not very intelligent". Regardless of who would win that competition - Trump implied he win - it would do nothing to answer the question of who is smarter.

Tillerson isn't the first to say it, and he'll be far from the last to make this point. "I'm not undermining. I think I'm actually strengthening authority". Low news and reporting standards.

Reports have swirled of a schism in the Trump administration between the commander-in-chief and his top diplomat, as the USA faces a host of vexatious foreign policy conundrums, from North Korea to Iran. "He made a joke, nothing more than that", Sanders said.
