New Google Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL Photos Leaked

Google's 4th October Event: New Pixel Phones, Speakers To Launch

The differences between the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL appear to be cosmetic, according to months the rumors that hint at similar internal specs. Less than 48 hours away from its official launch, the larger of the two phones has finally leaked.

However, the Pixel 2 XL has significantly less bezel than the Pixel 2. This time around, some new images have leaked but more importantly, we have release dates for both the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL, which unfortunately won't begin shipping at the same time. With that in mind, it comes as no surprise at all that the Pixel 2 XL which will be introduced on that occasion has been leaked today. The phone will run the newest Android Oreo OS. This one is expected to feature the same camera and other features that will arrive with the Pixel 2 XL. So, it suggests that Google has also ditched the audio port. However, this helps improve the waterproofing of the phone.

Both the phones sport an identical two-tone rear, which is an improvement of last year's design with a fingerprint sensor sitting in the middle.

Looking at the images we can be sure that Google is not giving in to the dual-camera craze. In the first image with a case shows clear cut for USB Type-c port but there is nothing for 3.5mm audio jack.

The UI too has been tweaked. As the screen looks tall so it will be super easy to tap on Google search.

LG is apparently the manufacturer of the Pixel 2, while HTC is taking care of the Pixel 2 XL, so decently made and designed handsets are to be expected. Are you thinking about picking either phone up? Reportedly, the Pixel 2 XL will feature a 6-inch almost bezel-less edge-to-edge QHD+ P-OLED rounded display, while the Pixel 2 will sport a 5-inch, 1080p display.

Storage configurations can be assumed to be 64GB and 128GB and of course both will have front firing stereo speakers which get a personal thumbs-up from my side.

Starting price of the phone is expected to be Rs 55,000.
