Janet Jackson blasts domestic terrorism as she returns to the stage

Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson broke down and cried in front of her fans in Houston, Saturday, during a heartfelt performance that left many wondering: why?

You can hear her sobbing as she covers her face and then she bends over and sobs for a few seconds. The lyrics read "What about all the s**t you've done to me?"

Jackson performed hits including "Nasty", "All For You", "Miss You Much", and "Pleasure Principle".

In a video posted on her Twitter account, the "Rhythm Nation" hitmaker said: "Hey you guys!"

She says she plans to visit some of the victims of the massive storm and let people know she cares about their plight. At the time, the singer was performing the song "What About" from her iconic 1997 album, The Velvet Rope.

Janet Jackson was visibly shaken while performing one of her hit songs during her Houston concert.

She did not perform "What About" at the concerts she gave before her maternity hiatus.

Editors at TMZ have reported that an undisclosed settlement has now been reached which coincided with the first date of Janet's State of the World Tour.

When the 51-year-old singer announced she was planning a family with her husband, she also confirmed she had to delay her tour due to the high-risk nature of her pregnancy.

Jackson quietly married Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012, and the two welcomed son, Eissa, this past January.

She promised the flood-ravaged city of Houston "something special" on Wednesday.
