The Call of Duty: WWII private beta opens first on PS4 on August 25th and will run to August 28th. Activision and Sledgehammer Games do not want you to miss a minute of action, so they announced that you can start downloading the trial period on PlayStation 4.

PS4 players who pre-ordered the game should have access to a beta code and can now download the beta from the PlayStation Store. In order to redeem a code, you'll have to go to the Call of Duty: WWII beta website and enter the code to login/register. Xbox One players aren't so lucky though as they have to wait until next month to start the beta.

"We're excited to give our Xfinity Internet customers the chance to play the latest version of the Call of Duty Multiplayer 2 months before release", Comcast's executive director of partnership marketing Matt Lederer said in a press statement. It will also allow you to access 5 Battle Divisions and War Mode through the Breakout operation.

Call of Duty: WW2 is looking pretty interesting with Activision showcasing the new Headquarters social space for multiplayer where players will meet, interact and pick up various quests. Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. But socializing in Call of Duty?

Even if you're not a hardcore fan of the Call of Duty series, you can't help but admit that Call of Duty: WWII just has a knack for capturing attention.
