Cardinals' Rally Cat found by rescue group on streets of St. Louis

Don't Look Now But The Rally Cat Cardinals Are Back In The Race

Now that the kitten has reportedly been located, there are plans for it to be reunited with the team following its release from quarantine.

We'll see what lies ahead in Rally Cat's future.

At that point, as our ushers tried to contain the cat, a fan grabbed it and claimed it was hers. 'Our grounds crew is looking to develop a stray animal protocol to ensure the safety of both the grounds crew and animal should this happen again'.

"I can handle a lot but people saying I'm not focused or deserve a cat?"

With the bases loaded and two outs in the sixth on Tuesday night, the game was delayed for a couple minutes when a small, feisty cat sprinted onto the field at Busch Stadium. She should have given that cat to the authorities to find a good home.

The feline escaped on to the field Busch Stadium on August 9, which halted the game as staff tried to catch the cat. Seconds after grounds crew member Lucas Hackmann captured the furry friend, CATcher Yadier Meowlina hit a grand slam to take the lead and litter-ally cement Rally Cat's place in history.

"We are pretty confident that this is Rally Cat", said Savannah Rigley, a board member with St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach.

Then there's the black cat that apparently "cursed" the 1969 Chicago Cubs by walking in front of their dugout, after which the tide of the game turned dramatically and the Cubs missed the playoffs.

The Cardinals are making arrangements to care for the cat long term.
