Insider confirms Chelsea, Liverpool are interested in signing 23-year-old attacker

Chelsea have upped their interest in signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Oxlade-Chamberlain is in the final year of his contract at Arsenal.

I do not think we can say the same thing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, though, despite the boss saying a lot of good things about the dynamic England worldwide and despite the fact that he seems to have found a new lease of life as a wing back in Wenger's new three at the back formation.

Antonio Conte wants more players at Chelsea with Champions League and Premier League challenges to come this season.

Chelsea are ready to pay up to £35million for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Past year he was much more stable.

This is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that the the Gunners had rejected Chelsea's initial advances for the England worldwide.

The blues manager Antonio Conte, who earlier this week was reassured that at least three more new players would arrive at Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes, is understood to be desperate to signthe Arsenal midfielder.

Since arriving at the Emirates stadium from Southampton in 2011, Oxlade-Chamberlain has failed to establish himself as a first team regular under Arsene Wenger, despite his potential. The 23-year-old is a favourite among fans and fellow team-mates and a departure from the Emirates would be devastating for the club.

In addition to this is the fact that the 23-year-old has seen game time in the wing back position, which makes him a flawless fit for Conte's charges, who employed a back three liberally last season.
