Majority of voters believe White House is in chaos

Trump Still a Working-Class Hero, Democratic Poll Shows

Trump's disapproval rating has been on the rise since taking office in January, when 44 percent said they disapprove of the newly inaugurated leader. Just three percent of Democrats say they don't think Trump did anything wrong, while that number is 70 percent for Republicans.

Other polls reflect a decline in approval ratings among Americans for the 45th president, too.

In a Politico/Morning Consult poll that was also released on Wednesday, Trump's approval rating dipped slightly to 42%, down one point from the 43% who said they approved last week, but within the plus or minus 2 percentage-point margin of error. "Voters say 57 - 40 percent he is abusing the powers of his office and say 60 - 36 percent that he believes he is above the law".

Mr Trump signed a bill imposing new sanctions on Russia, and in retaliation Russia forced out 755 diplomats out of the country, including Russian nationals, and declared the hoped-for improved relationship with the USA "was over". And with continuous tension reported in the White House, things don't seem to be slowing down.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-checker PolitiFact ruled Trump's tweet to be mostly false, noting that the conservative-leaning polling group had actually found higher approval for Obama during the same timeframe in his first term. Trump's highest Gallup approval rating was 46 percent on January 25. The survey was conducted entirely prior to Monday's ouster of Anthony Scaramucci from his position as White House communications director, and was already in the field when Reince Priebus left the chief of staff position.

Americans are increasingly dissatisfied with President Trump's on-the-job performance, according to new polls out this week.

House Majority PAC, which supports Democratic congressional candidates, hired Expedition Strategies to conduct the survey of 1,000 white likely voters without college degrees in key congressional districts in June and July.

More than half of Republicans in a Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday do not approve of the way their party has handled healthcare in Congress.

Just over half of voters disapprove of Mr Trump's handling of the economy; 59 per cent disapprove of his foreign policy and 65 per cent object to his handling of health care.
