Chris Christie caught on video confronting heckling Cubs fan

VIDEO Chris Christie Confronts

The video took place at Sunday's game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee's Miller Park.

Christie made a decision to take in a Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers game, hoping to escape the stresses of being the governor of New Jersey.

Instead of walking away, Christie was filmed leaning close to Johnson's face and asking him if he wanted to "start something".

Joseph, however, didn't walk back the comment about calling Christie a hypocrite.

"Some other fans at the game were already heckling him, so I yelled his name and he turned around, at which point I shouted 'You Suck!' and then I sat back down", Joseph wrote.

Christie interrupted the fan saying "you know Mike, I love, I love getting calls from communists in Montclair".

Despite the fact that basically any Chris Christie appearance is greeted with utter contempt by everyone that's around him, the Jersey Governor seems intent on staying in the spotlight. Fortunately, for the internet, someone sitting in the same row as the Cubs fan was able to capture the exchange and posted the video online.

"Appreciate that", the fan replies.

Christie is one of the most-disliked US governors, with a Quinnipiac University poll in June finding that eight of 10 New Jersey voters disapproved of the job be was doing, which it said was the worst of any governor and the lowest job approval rating it had found for any governor in 20 years.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie speaks in a press conference at the State House in Trenton, New Jersey, U.S. on March 3, 2016.

"I took it the first time he said it. and said some really lousy terrible stuff", Christie said, "and then I came back after having ignored him the first time". On July 18, fans at Citi Field in NY loudly booed Christie after he grabbed a foul ball during a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Mets.

"I just think that's wrong and it doesn't look good, As an official elected and a public figure".

Christie was in Milwaukee over the weekend visiting his son, who works for the Brewers.
