Tapper Goes After Scaramucci For Changing His Stance On Trump

Senate Dems troll new Trump communications chief for past tweets on fighting climate change

White House's brand new communications director Anthony Scaramucci is garnering attention in news media for what appears to be a significant slip-up of information regarding Donald Trump. "You're going to delegitimize his victory?"

Scaramucci then bantered with the newsman about the state of their makeup, complimenting the makeup artist who did up his face Friday, for his White House podium debut, and remarking that Tapper was wearing so much bronzer that he looked 'tan and refreshed'. Scaramucci, by joining the administration he once maligned and proclaiming that his views have "evolved", has proved that much like other members of the administration, he has little dignity or consideration for the disadvantaged in this country.

Pressed to elaborate on his pledge to cut down staff, Scaramucci said, "As far as I'm concerned, it's a new start for everyone in [the communications] team".

"How about it was the president, Jake", Scaramucci said.

"Now, all of the speculation and all of the spin is he's going to pardon himself", he added. However, his references to populist candidates leading in national polls and discussions about vetting immigrants make it clear he is directing his criticisms at Trump's candidacy.

The hiring of Scaramucci, a Wall Street financier and Republican fundraiser, brings a combative style to the White House press office as President Donald Trump lashes out at probes into whether his campaign colluded with Russians during the 2016 campaign.

Prior to becoming a Trump supporter, Scaramucci had backed Scott Walker and criticized Trump on several occasions.

And while Huckabee Sanders delivered that message, Scaramucci offered a variation on the president's current position.

Scaramucci then reiterated that he deleted his old tweets because they were a "total distraction".

I'm going to limit my remarks about the Russian Federation situation and things like that.

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked Scaramucci why Trump tweeted about his "complete power" to pardon last week if no crimes had been committed.

He declined to say whether the president will sign the bill Congress is considering that would place new sanctions on Russian Federation. Spicer reportedly resigned because he was opposed to Scaramucci, whom he had to report to as press secretary.

"You've got to ask President Trump that", Scaramucci said. On Saturday, House and Senate negotiators announced an agreement on the bill.
