Cosmo DiNardo Confesses to Killing Four Missing Men in Pennsylvania, Lawyer Says

Missing Dean Finocchiaro

Cosmo DiNardo has confessed to "participating in or committing" the murders of all four missing Bucks County men, and he told news reporters he was "sorry" he did it, his attorney told ABC6. The remains of the last three killed were reported discovered Wednesday by investigators, and DiNardo agreed to tell investigators the separate location of the first victim's body, the person said.

The Associated Press is reporting that a person with first-hand knowledge of DiNardo's confession says DiNardo killed the four men separately after selling them marijuana and then burned their bodies at his family's farm.

Jimi Patrick, Mark Sturgis, Tom Meo, and Dean Finocchiaro all went missing almost a week ago.

Finnocchiaro, Jimi Tar Patrick, Mark Sturgis, and Tom Meo, all went missing almost a week ago.

Investigators said it appears some of the men knew each other.

Dinardo was arrested on Wednesday and charged with stealing and trying to sell a auto owned by one of the men. As part of DiNardo's admission, prosecutors will take the death penalty off the table.

Police are searching for four young men who went missing in a period of about a week.

The source said DiNardo was known to sell quarter-pounds of pot for several thousand dollars a pop, along with handguns.

The attorney representing the DiNardo family says in a statement that they are cooperating with the investigation.

DiNardo told authorities that a co-conspirator from Philadelphia was involved in three of the deaths, the person said.

This time, he's facing one count each of theft and receiving stolen property, and is being held on $5 million bail.

Cosmo DiNardo had been trying to sell the 1996 Nissan Maxima on Saturday to a friend for $500, according to Weintraub's office.

Patrick went to the same all-boys Catholic High School, Holy Ghost Preparatory School, as DiNardo, and was a year behind him. On Facebook, Mr. DiNardo is friends with Mr. Patrick, and he and Mr. Finocchiaro both belonged to a group for enthusiasts of all-terrain vehicles.

In February, police arrested DiNardo after they found him with a 20-gauge shotgun. Matt Weintraub said at a news conference early Thursday, before DiNardo's confession.

Cosmo DiNardo has reportedly confessed to participating in the murders of four men in Bucks County.

The men, ages 19 to 22, were declared missing last week. The remains of only one, 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, have been officially identified.

Of the search on the DiNardo property, Weintraub said, "We're not exactly sure what we're going to find there, but we're pretty confident that the investigation is proceeding in the direction we believed that it would". "We wanted to be supportive and comforting for our community", said Bucks County resident Wyatt McLeod.

DiNardo was initially arrested Monday on an unrelated felony firearms possession charge but was released on bail Tuesday evening after posting 10 percent of $1 million bond.
