Marching band performs Daft Punk at Paris Bastille Day parade

United States president Donald Trump and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron have been regaled with a brass band medley of Daft Punk songs. Based on his expression, Trump didn't particularly enjoy the brass-heavy combination of "One More Time", "Get Lucky", and "Harder Better Faster Stronger".

France is a country, so to celebrate its national holiday, Bastille Day, it puts on a huge military parade.

Having rolled out the red carpet for the US President, Mr Macron was no less gushing in a speech at the end of Friday's procession in the heart of the French capital.

Macron appeared to be quite amused by the performance while Trump did not give much reaction.

Honestly, how could you help but smile?

Macron, who at 39 was surely at least a little familiar with Daft Punk's music, grinned in recognition at the rearranged club hits. Based on the footage, it's seems safe to assume that one of them is a much bigger Daft Punk fan than the other.

But then again, most people aren't Donald Trump.

Well, now we can add electronic music to the seemingly endless list of things that Trump has no knowledge of.
