'Chelsea Future not up to me' - Costa Blasts After Starring for Spain

Conte doesn't want me at Chelsea: Costa

The striker was told by text message that he could leave Chelsea and has said that he will only consider a return to Atletico.

The Italian could perhaps have shown better man-management skills in delivering the news-particularly to such a volatile character-but Costa has put the club in a hard situation this summer.

"My relationship with the coach has been bad this season". I'll stay with the good of everything.

Regarding the upcoming clash against Italy and the lack of yellow cards for suspensions, Costa said, "these games are important and even more against Italy". It's an opinion of the coach, if he has the option of putting another in.

However with the Spanish subject to a transfer ban, the player would be available to sign for Atletico Madrid, but unable to play until at least January. If Lukaku does in fact make a return to Chelsea, will Conte change his formation to having two strikers?

Chelsea troubled striker Diego Costa has leaked that he's not in Antonio Conte's plan next season. The Belgian has made it clear that he wants to leave the Goodison Park outfit and play in the Champions League.

With his 20 goals, Costa won 15 points, averaging out at 0.75 points per goal.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Italian manager is keen on landing Romelu Lukaku, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Marco Verratti, Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro. Three years later and three more trophies under his belt, it is time for him to take the next step in his career.

Of course, on its own, this means very little, though.

Regardless of how this all began or who exactly started this whole mess, Diego Costa seems determined to burn his bridges at Chelsea and ensure that despite Granovskaia's strong determination to remain in control, his impending exit happens on his own terms.

Going hand-in-hand with this, Costa tends to spread his goals out.

Ironically, Chelsea could have trousered £76m for Costa from Chinese outfit Tianjin Quanjian in the winter transfer window.

Should he team up with Los Colchoneros or should he wait for a better offer?

Chelsea fans will remember his UEFA Super Cup final penalty miss against Bayern Munich, which lost the Blues the trophy that night.

The Spaniard has also been linked with a move to Brazilian club Palmeiras but Jair Costa admitted that such a switch is unlikely.
