Noel Gallagher Donating Song Royalties to Manchester Fund

Liam Gallagher Goes In On Brother Noel For Not Turning Up To One Love Concert PA 31567843

A spokesman for Braun's company said on Wednesday: "Sunday's concert was a huge success and we are all dismayed that there is negativity aimed towards Noel Gallagher".

Liam slammed his brother Noel for missing the show, but Chris has different feelings.

But the best response of all was the fact he has apparently donated a sh*t-tonne of money to the victims of the Manchester attack by handing over all the royalties from Don't Look Back In Anger.

"I've seen some unpleasant headlines about Noel and why he never played the gig in Manchester at the weekend", Smart said, pointing out that this was done before the gig was even announced.

Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher in 2008 - just one year before Oasis called it quits.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has publicly thanked Noel Gallagher for allowing the rockers to cover Oasis songs at the One Love Manchester charity concert, a day after his brother Liam blasted him online.

Coldplay performed Oasis' chart-topping hit, Don't Look Back in Anger at the fund-raising event.

The song, which was written by Noel, became an unofficial anthem for the victims of the Manchester terror attack, that took place after Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena on May 22.

All net ticket proceeds will go towards the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund set up by Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross. Noel has not personally confirmed whether the report is true, but he has retweeted an article making reference to his supposed gesture on iNews.

During the show, Coldplay and Grande sang "Don't Look Back in Anger" together. That was before any gig was mentioned.

The news comes 48-hours after Liam took to the stage Old Trafford cricket ground, hours after performing at a festival in Germany, and sang three songs for the 60,000 strong crowd and audience at home; which included Oasis hits, Rock "n" Roll Star and Live Forever.
