Facebook's Zuckerberg to give Harvard graduation speech

Everyone knows what a rage Facebook is and who created this storm.

Some of Zuckerberg's remarks echo the manifesto he published earlier this year, outlining how he saw Facebook's mission as establishing a "social infrastructure" for the world.

It all comes down to a sense of goal, according to Zuckerberg. During the speech, Zuckerberg noted how people are longing for connection that they used to get from work, church, or community.

Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg recently gave a commencement speech at Harvard, which is ironic since he dropped out of the school upon creating the social media site.

In his speech, he admitted that it was easier for him to start a successful business because he had a cushion to fall back on in case he failed so he wasn't spending a lot of time worrying. Instead, he said rich people just like him should be ensuring everyone has a fair shot at pursuing their dreams. Specifically, Zuckerberg mentioned self-driving cars as the most imminent example of technology that will create massive disruption to the economy. "I hope you find the courage to make your life a blessing". Learning and formulating things around your idea takes place along the journey.

"Millennials are already one of the most charitable generations in history". In just a year, Zuckerberg says, nearly 3 out of 4 millennials in the U.S donated to charity; and nearly 7 out of 10 raised money for charity. He also admitted to having the benefit of free time to learn how to code when he was younger rather than having to work to support his family. Even global changes start small - with people like us.

Well, this is a amusing but a realistic advice by far from Zuckerberg's commencement speech.

"It is good to be idealistic". But be prepared to be misunderstood. Anyone working on a big vision will get called insane, even if you end up right.

So even if you are called insane, do not lose motivation. It is only freedom to fail that can lead to success, he emphasized. Ending his speech, he called for affordable medical care for everyone and invited Harvard graduates to devote their time to helping the world. What is the struggle? Forces for the flow of knowledge, trade and immigration against those who would slow them down. "It's a battle of ideas".

There's a lesson to be learned from that teen, according to Zuckerberg. "But this idea was so clear to us - that all people want to connect".

"My dad took this video when I got accepted to Harvard", Zuckerberg wrote in the Facebook post.

Before giving remarks, he received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree during Harvard's 366th graduation ceremony.
