'Covfefe'? It's a message to the Russians, quips Hillary Clinton

Hillary makes a new accusation in the election conspiracy theory

"The Russians, in my opinion, and based on the intel and counter-intel people I've talked to, could not have known how best to weaponize [damaging information] unless they had been guided.by Americans and guided by people who had polling and data information", said Clinton in the interview at Recode's Code Conference in California Wednesday.

She also added, "now, we weren't always able to control what others did, but we sure made it clear we didn't think it was a good idea to engage in invasions, and mass murders, and other things that we see in the Philippines, to, uh, the Middle East".

Watching the story about her private email server explode was a "maddening" experience, Clinton said, as she specifically called out The New York Times for its coverage of the issue.

What Clinton is referring to is the tradition of a French ban on pre-election campaigning starting about 36 hours before voting.

She was pressed by another journalist on stage, Kara Swisher, who asked: "But you're leaning Trump?"

"Over the summer we went and told anyone we could find that the Russians were messing with the election and we were basically shooed away", she said. So I'm now the nominee of the Democratic Party.

The RNC's data team tweeted, "Never thought we'd agree with Hillary Clinton, but she's 100% correct on this one".

"They covered it like it was Pearl Harbor", Mrs. Clinton said of the press. Clinton said she was concerned about the impact "fake news" on social media platforms would have on voters. "I believe that what was happening to me was unprecedented". "Anti-American forces are going after our economy and they are going after our unity as a nation". "I had to inject money into it". Clinton took offense, saying she gave many speeches to a wide range of groups from health care executives to camp counselors. "He really understands how to inflame people, how to motivate them, how to bond with them over whatever their grievance is, over whatever resentment or point of anger that you may have, if he can get into it - whether it's race or sex or xenophobia or Islamophobia".

"I get the nomination".

"I take responsibility for every decision I make - but that's not why I lost", Clinton said. "And it was used, and I thought it was unfairly used".
