Rodgers shows leadership skills on field, leads Pack to win

With the Green Bay Packers' season likely on the line Monday night, quarterback Aaron Rodgers turned in one of his finest performances of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Packers now have a 29-game winning streak when entering the fourth quarter with the lead and the Eagles (5-6) have lost 18 straight games when trailing after three quarters. According to Packers.com, Sunday will be Green Bay's first noon home game in December since Week 14 vs. Atlanta in 2013.

Coming up on Sunday, December 4 from Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, we've got National Football League action between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cincinnati Bengals.

That game was notable becaue the Eagles took a 17-0 lead in the first quarter, then the Raiders scored the last 48 points. In that first series just playing a little faster with the position change and everything I was feeling good about what I was able to do especially in those first couple plays.

The win over Philadelphia on the road is significant for the Packers, who are still just two games back of the Detroit Lions for first place in the division, and now have a 2-1 division record.

Rodgers and the offense will be doing extra studying as they face the Texans here at Lambeau field for the first time since 2008. That wide receiver corps is guided by a former MVP quarterback in Aaron Rodgers who, unfortunately for the Texans, may have just found his high-octane mojo again. Merrill Reese has been an institution in Philadelphia for the last 40 years and is a voice of the Eagles Nation. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix intercepted a pass by Carson Wentz early in the third quarter. He also was sacked four times. Matthews absorbed a crushing block early in the game but was able to come back after a locker-room examination. Rodgers picked them apart, converting four third-down attempts on that drive alone, which made Green Bay 9 of 11 on third down for the game. "I think on any type of muscle strain, particularly a hamstring, the next day is a pretty good indicator". He stayed calm. He stayed right on point.

"I mean I wasn't a fan of it".

Aaron Rodgers may have a new "go-to" guy when it comes to the passing game.

The second touchdown pass from Rodgers to Adams proved to be the most impressive. "We'll try to get the swelling down and, hopefully by the time game time rolls around, it will feel that much better".

Minnesota sits effectively two games back of Detroit after surrendering the tiebreaker to their Thanksgiving opponents last week.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy described the 6-5, 270-pound Clowney as unique in his quickness and ability to pose as a threat from any direction.

Of the three teams, the Packers and Vikings have three of their last five games at home.

The Packers have finished with a losing record in the four games they play against teams from an AFC division each season only twice in McCarthy's previous 10 years as coach.
