Bulletstorm remaster due in April via Gearbox

Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition

At The Game Awards Gearbox announced a new publishing division, where it will "help independent developers", and took the occasion to reveal the first project under it's wings: Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. I'm loathe to ever recommend pre-ordering, but hey, maybe you really, really love Duke. Those with a PS4 Pro and a high-end PC will be able to run the game in 4K resolution, which brings high-res textures, and remastered audio for everyone else too. Called Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, it will be available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on April 7. The original game was developed by People Can Fly and published by EA, but (as per the Duke cameo) publishing duties have been passed onto Gearbox this time around.

New Overkill Campaign mode, which will provide players with an unrestricted arsenal of weapons and skillshots.

The game follows the story of Grayson Hunt, a professional assassin who's been exiled from the elite group Dead Echo. It comes with all the previously-released Bulletstorm add-ons, and some new score-attack maps. "Everyone at our studio is excited to be delivering what we feel is the very best Bulletstorm experience to fans around the world".

We also got to check out a brief bit of gameplay footage in the title's announcement trailer that looked just as off-the-wall as you'd expect. Will you be picking it up?
