New Wikileaks reveal Clinton team scrambling to 'dump all those e-mails'

The Boston Globe reported three weeks after Flournoy's email that CHAI had never submitted information on any foreign donations to Department of State lawyers for review during Clinton's tenure's chief US diplomat from 2009 to 2013. Based on the new emails released by Wikileaks, those concerns may be amplified.

Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik had his son apply for a job on the Clinton campaign with Podesta, dined with Podesta in January in the middle of the Clinton email probe and referred other job candidates to Podesta, the Washington Examiner reported Tuesday.

There is the HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify.

Kadzik also updated Podesta on the FOIA case on Clinton's emails. After FBI Director James Comey announced the Bureau came across emails that may be related to the Clinton email probe, Kadzik penned a letter to lawmakers on October 31, 2016, promising the DOJ would do everything in its power to resolve the latest investigation quickly. "Likely to get questions on State Department emails", he flagged in an email to Podesta on May 19, 2015, with the subject line, "Heads up".

He also lobbied for a tax cheat later pardoned by then-President Bill Clinton and led the effort to confirm Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who tried to stop the FBI from investigating the Clinton Foundation for public corruption.

In 1998, Kadzik represented Podesta in an investigation involving Monica Lewinsky, the White House intern with whom former president Clinton had an affair.

Davis himself was also advocating for Clinton to release her emails, the Post notes, but Podesta's hacked emails show the campaign was not happy about it.
