(And before we all lose our minds, it's worth noting that Martin is rumored to have finished a draft of The Winds Of Winter, briefly insulating him from the cries of A Song Of Ice And Fire fans slavering for fresh ink.) Writing from his home in New Mexico, Martin hopped onto his Livejournal account to pass on a few observations about the current political clime.

Now, reports have claimed that the book is already being proofread and in addition to that, the seventh book will also be released simultaneously to the sixth. Moreover, reports state that the sixth and seventh installment to A Song of Ice and Fire will be released simultaneously.

Fans have been waiting for the sixth installment with reports suggesting that the book will be released in 2017.

The last book in the series, titled "A Dance With Dragons", was released in 2011.

Ty Franck admitted to finding that the method George R.R. Martin uses for writing is not time-efficient. He also wants to assure the quality of his work as opposed to the time to publish it. According to Ty Franck, George R.R. Martin refuses to have internet connection in this machine as "The Winds Of Winter' author safeguards against having his projects hacked and leaked". This has then excited the fans even more, speculating that they would get more than what they have initially expected to come next year.

As for the spoiled storyline for the "Winds of Winter" installment, Daenerys will reportedly rise to the throne and will cost her the dragons in return. This ascension to the throne is led by the upcoming battle between the dragons and the White Walkers. "TWOW" release is still a major suspense but is "The Winds Of Winter" author really guilty of inefficiency? Although the page has been taken down, many have already noticed their announcement. The latter is said to reveal almost everything that is to happen in the episodes of the season to come, including the return of a few characters and as usual, the death of major characters; which is fine as long as it doesn't include a Direwolf or a Dragon.
